The Foxes found the net four times on Saturday against the 20-time first division winners, securing a 4-2 win at the King Power. This was the first time Leicester beat United at King Power in the Premier League since their 5-3 win in 2014.

Leicester have recorded back-to-back Premier League wins over Manchester United for the first time in their history:

It started on a fine note for the Red Devils, with Mason Greenwood rifling home a sensational hit from 25 yards cutting in on his left foot. Youri Tielemens’ equalized in the 31st minute, and Caglar Soyuncu’s second half goal put Brendan Rodgers’ ahead.

Marcus Rashford seemed to have levelled things finishing off a sensational long ball from Victor Lindelof, a second-halfediate goal from Jamie Vardy tore United’s resilience.

Patson Daka’s debut goal in the Premier League, which is also the first by a Zambian footballer, sealed the deal for Leicester, who won the game 4-2. Pressure mounts on Manchester United gaffer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who picked up just 1 point in the last 3 Premier League games.

Before that, Liverpool had a goal-fest on their trip to the Vicarage Road. Watford’s new manager and returning Premier League legend Claudio Ranieri did not have the best of times on his comeback, with the Merseyside reds smashing five past his side at home.

Sadio Mane opened the scoring for Liverpool, finishing off a delightful through ball from Mohamed Salah. Roberto Firmino scored his first of the day towards the end of the first half before doubling his tally early on in the second.

The Egyptian once again squeezed and danced past defenders with startling technique to score the 4th, and in the dying minutes, Firmino completed his hat-trick, netting home a hardly fizzed cross in from Neco Williams.

Down south in London, Brentford hosted Chelsea in an exhilarating contest that saw the blues emerge victorious narrowly. A fabulous Ben Chilwell volley put them ahead in the first half, but they had to escape many stinging blows from the Bees, who had plenty of chances in the game but failed to get it past the white line.

Thomas Tuchel’s men kept their fifth clean sheet of the league campaign, maintaining their position at the top of the table.

Wolves delivered a stunning comeback against Aston Villa. After the first half went goalless, Danny Ings’ header and John McGinn’s stunner kept the hosts two goals to the good.

Romain Saiss pulled things back for the visitors before Conor Coady sneaked an equalizer in the 85th minute. Ruben Neves’ 95th-minute free-kick took a massive deflection from Matt Targett, sending the keeper the other way and sealing a 3-2 win for Bruno Lage’s men.

Goals from Bernardo Silva and Kevin de Bruyne sealed the deal 2-0 for Manchester City in their clash against Burnley, whilst Brighton failed to secure three points at the Carrow Road, finishing 0-0 against Norwich City.

Armando Broja’s second-half goal turned out to be the decider for Ralph Hassenhuttl’s Southampton, who earned a crucial win against Leeds United at the St. Mary’s.
