The E-gaming sector’s constant efforts to evolve and make the virtual platform as realistic as they can often receives a lot of plaudits, but when it backfires, it isn’t a great sight. E-Football from Konami, formerly known as Pro Evolution Soccer, has failed to garner any good reviews from the fans after its graphical representation disappointed the fans.

The images from the game that became viral on social media have created an immeasurable aversion to the game. Hands getting twisted in a way it is biologically impossible, facial expressions that are hideous and inexplicable, some players’ graphical image being the worst-possible caricature one could possibly design – plenty of aspects have gone against E-Football.

With EA’s flagship game FIFA22 has emerged on the market in the last few days and its unreal domination over the years proved to be a major reason why Konami decided to hit the reformation button.

Their anticipation was to provide a new look to PES and make it interesting for crowds. However, the opposite of it happened.

FIFA 22 will remain undisputed in this year’s market, with E-Football losing plenty of audience in a trice. Potential customers of the future might as well remain away from it because of the reviews as E-Football has been termed a “Disaster” by most experts.

Konami recently launched an apology for the atrocious imagery in their latest edition of the game and mentioned that they are working to fix it. The game was launched on September 29 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBox and X Box series X/S.

“We will do our utmost to satisfy as many users as possible, and we look forward to your continued support of eFootball 2022,”

    the statement concluded.

Konami launched the game in 1995, shortly after EA Sports launched the FIFA series in December 1993. Their rivalry been touted as the greatest in history in the e-gaming world, and there have been plenty of ups and downs for both organizations. However, it would be fair to say that EA Sports has won this bout quite easily without much credit of their own.
