The Board of Control for Cricket in India and the England & Wales Cricket Board are keen on requesting the authorities in the UAE to allow a full capacity crowd on November 14, when the final of the T20 World Cup takes place. The tournament will be hosted in Oman and UAE starting from October 17.

The guidelines to enter the stadium have been rigid in the United Arabic Emirates for the on-going Indian Premier League. Spectators over the age of 21 must show proof of their double vaccination before entering the venue in Dubai, whilst Sharjah requires fans to be at least 16, with double vaccination done and a copy of their PCR Test results, done no longer than 48 hours prior to the start of the match.

The fans are being educated constantly even during the broadcast, encouraging them to complete their double dose of vaccination. The current crowd capacity for the Indian Premier League is less than 50%, and thus far, the organizers seemed to have dotted all the Is and lined all the Ts.

The heads of the favorites to win the World Cup are in awe of the thought of the electric atmosphere a full house can create in what will be a highly-anticipated final. As per ANI reports, they will be putting in a formal request soon and see where it goes.

India and England have been drawn in different groups, with both sides awaiting two more counterparts to arrive from the qualifying stages. As it stands, England will be playing against Australia, South Africa and the defending champions West Indies, whilst India’s confirmed opponents are Afghanistan, New Zealand and Pakistan.

India will begin their challenge with a clash against the arch-rivals Pakistan on October 24. Dubai will play host to this iconic clash between the Asian giants, who were the champions of the inaugural and the second editions in 2007 and 2009.

England, the champions of 2010, will open their account against the defending champions West Indies on October 22.
