Vaughan believes that the country produces some phenomenal talent since Dravid took charge of the Cricket Operations department at the National Cricket Academy.

Vaughan stated that Dravid had instilled the right mentality in the youngsters of Indian cricket today, which has given them the confidence and ability to go out and perform every single time they are called upon on the field.

Whatever India are doing behind the scenes, I know we keep mentioning the IPL but I think Rahul Dravid with his A-side and development program is clearly installing the right mentality in his players. All these players are being brought through the system into the international India team which is a huge pressure cooker.

Full credit to the system that India have produced, they are getting it absolutely right,

    Vaughan told Cricbuzz.

Players like Washington Sundar, Shubman Gill, Mayank Agarwal, Axar Patel, Rishabh Pant Mohammed Siraj and many more have been a part of Dravid’s setup for India A or U-19.

Prasidh Krishna, another player who has worked very closely with Dravid, recently debuted India against England. After getting hammered all over the park by Jason Roy and Johhny Bairstow’s likes, Krishna made a fantastic comeback and produced figures of 4/54, the first time an Indian seamer has taken more than three wickets on ODI debut.

Dravid, a batsman par excellent, has unearthed many talented stars for the future, and Vaughan is hopeful that many others can benefit from his useful insights.
