Dwayne Bravo won the toss for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and decided to field first. Johnson Charles (30 off 26) and former Indian cricketer Smit Patel (54 off 48) were the prime run-scorers for Barbados Royals. Captain Dwayne Bravo was brilliant with the ball during the death overs and picked up another 4-wicket-haul to add to his collection.
STKNP needed 161 runs to win the match at around eight runs per over. Most of the marquee names in their batting lineup like Fabian Allen, Ravi Bopara, Sherfane Rutherford and Dwayne Bravo could not reach a double-digit score.

Dominik Drakes (28 off 15) and Sheldon Cottrell (20 off 7) completed an insane robbery of points as they managed to win a game when no one expected them to. Cottrell smashed a last-ball six to earn the two points for his side, which takes them up to 10 points, six more than any other team.
