Jarvo, who had gained popularity during the second Test at Lord’s for walking onto the pitch wearing the Indian Test jersey, made an appearance in the third Test in Headingley. He once again put on the Indian jersey, and this time he came out as a batsman wearing pads and a helmet.

Pitch invader Jarvo has made quite a name for himself in the last couple of Test matches. For the second time in as many Test matches, he invaded the pitch and left the security officials agitated.

Wearing the Indian team’s jersey with the number 69 on his back, Jarvo walked onto the field in the second Test match at Lord’s on day three. As the Indian team took the field after the lunch break, he walked alongside Virat Kohli and co as a fielder before he was forced out of the field.

He was seen indicating that he is a part of the Indian team as he showed the BCCI and Bjyu’s logo.

The incident had left the commentary box and a few Indian players on the field in splits.

“Some random chap in whites had made his way into the middle with the Indian players, and he stood there as if he was about to take part in the Test match,”

    Michael Atherton chuckled on air.

Jarvo once again made an appearance on day three. This time, he dressed up as a batsman and had the pads and helmet on. This incident took place in the 48th over of India’s second innings. He walked out onto the field after Rohit Sharma was dismissed.

Once Rohit left, Jarvo barged onto the field and strode out as India’s No. 4, which irked the security personnel. The pitch invader just didn’t want to leave and was eventually pushed out of the ground by the security officials. It took three security officials to force him out of the field.

As far as the third Test is concerned, India fought back really well. Rohit Sharma stroked an excellent half-century before Cheteshwar Pujara’s unbeaten 91 alongside Virat Kohli’s 45 helped India reach 215/2 at stumps on day three.

India still trail by 139 runs after they bowled England out for 432.
