Muzarabani copies Ahmed’s dance after being fined by ICC

The clash between Taskin Ahmed and Blessing Muzarabani came under the spotlight once again after Muzarabani decided to get back at the Bangladeshi pacer for his little dance performance in the first innings of the one-off Test match in Harare.

It all started on Day 2 with Taskin Ahmed doing a break dance on the pitch after defending a short length delivery from Muzarabani. However, the Zimbabwe pacer felt provoked as he charged down towards Taskin and got into his face.

As a result, both the players were fined 15 percent of their match fees.

But the exchange between the two didn’t seem to die down. Muzarabani finally got his chance on the final day as he smashed Taskin for a boundary on the inside and broke out into a dance move of his own. However, there was no bad blood between the two on the last day as Taskin quickly turned his back and walked towards his bowling mark.

This hilarious little dance battle between the two big fast bowlers, if not anything, brought a great deal of entertainment to the spectators in a game that turned out to be pretty much one-sided.

After an early setback on the first day, Bangladesh were ruthless on the field for the rest of the match as they made light work of Zimbabwe, defeating them by 220 runs. They were reeling at 132 for 6 in the first innings, after which Mahmudullah (150*) joined hands with first Liton Das (95) and then with Taskin Ahmed (75) to take Bangladesh to a mountain of 468.

The hosts could not compete with Bangladesh, getting bowled out for 276 and 256 in two innings. However, the Zimbabwe skipper Brendan Taylor was exceptional, scoring 92-ball-81 and 73-ball-92 in two innings to give the fans something to cheer for.

Zimbabwe and Bangladesh will now move on to the three-match ODI series starting July 16, followed by a three-match T20I series from July 23.
