An uninvited guest made an entrance on Sunday, landing in the middle of an active soccer match between Olimpia Elblag’s second team and PISA Primavera Barczewo in the Polish fifth division.
The skydiver, who was shooting a first-person video of his descent, bizarrely interrupted the game after unexpectedly landing right in the centre of the park.
Fortunately, no individual was injured, including the skydiver. However, the adventurer was booked for his sins after the referee went to his pockets and showed him a yellow card.
The situation was handled in a composed manner, following which the game continued. Olimpia scored six and conceded three goals which resulted in a 6-3 win against the opposition.
This also directs attention towards a similar and famous incident in 1993, when a skydiver landed right next to the boxing ring during a fight between Riddick Bowe and Evander Holyfield.
