The salary of the contracted women’s cricketers has seen a hike of 20%, and the new pay structure will kick in from the ongoing month.

“We have increased the salary of the women cricketers by 20 percent and they will receive their salary in the new pay scale from this month (July),“

    Shafiul was quoted saying.

Besides this, they will now receive 300 USD as the match fees for one ODI and 150 USD for one T20I. Earlier, the ransom was 100 USD for an ODI and 75 USD for a T20I game.

“Earlier they (women cricketers) used to get 100 USD and 75 USD as match fees respectively for ODIs and T20Is,“
