Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has restated his ambition to lead the club to Champions League glory, indicating a strong commitment to the club for the foreseeable future. The young star appears to be focused on achieving success with the Parisians, and his comments suggest that he intends to stay with the team for an extended period of time.
Last May, the striker signed a new three-year contract with Paris, which includes an optional renewal for the final year. Despite committing to the deal, he has been frequently linked with a potential move away from Parc des Princes, with Real Madrid being the most commonly mentioned destination.
Despite entering the final year of his contract, Mbappe has confirmed his commitment to PSG by expressing his determination to win the Champions League with the team. His recent comments suggest that he has no intentions of leaving the club this summer, and is focused on achieving success with the club.
“The next step? Winning the Champions League. I have already made a final, semi-final, quarter-final, round of 16 … I have done everything but win. That’s all I need. Where [I want to do it]? In Paris. I’m a Parisian and under contract. So it’s PSG,”

The 24-year-old made these comments just a week after expressing his discontent over the use of an interview with him in Paris Saint-Germain’s season-ticket advertising campaign. The club subsequently removed the footage following his complaint.
Real Madrid have for long seen him as their next Galactico and were previously hopeful of signing him in 2021. He is seen as Karim Benzema’s heir at the club, and the former AS Monaco man has himself reiterated his desire previously to play for Real Madrid once in his life.
Despite facing some controversies this season, Mbappe has continued to deliver on the pitch, scoring an impressive 31 goals in all competitions for PSG at the age of 24. In total, he has now scored 202 goals for the club, surpassing the record previously held by Edinson Cavani and cementing his position as the top goal scorer for the French national team.
