Pakistan may have lost the third Test versus England to suffer a 3-0 whitewash at home for the first time ever but the skipper Babar Azam gained on ICC rankings. He moved to no. 2 behind Marnus Labuschagne, after scoring 78 and 54 in two innings at Karachi.

England’s historic series win in Pakistan saw some of their batters make big gains as well. Ben Stokes moved two spots up to No. 23, Ollie Pope was one spot to No. 28, whereas the Player of the Series Harry Brook climbed 11 positions to enter the top 50 for the first time at 44th place.
