Timo Werner could leave Chelsea this summer with RB Leipzig and Juventus among his suitors. Furthermore, an exit is also on the cards for Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is the subject of interest from Napoli.

Chelsea will hold a firesale in the next weeks of the summer transfer window, as per multiple reports. The Blues are in talks with several parties over the temporary and permanent departures of some of their fringe players, including Werner, Arrizabalaga, Ross Barkley, and Michy Batshuayi.

As per BILD, Werner has agreed to slash his wages by half to facilitate a transfer back to RB Leipzig. Things haven’t worked out as the German would have hoped for in London, with his goal record and poor conversion rate often the subject of ridicule.

His former club Leipzig is among those interested in signing the forward this summer and would be willing to entertain a loan deal with the option to make it permanent the subsequent season. Furthermore, as per Sky Sports, Juventus, too, are keen on Werner but are currently not in a position to spend big on him.

Update #Werner: Juventus is definitely interested. But at this stage, Werner is too expensive for them. Leipzig still has very good chances. He can really imagine to come back. Mintzlaff is pushing this transfer. Talks about a loan. Leipzig & Werner gets warmer … @SkySportDE 🇩🇪

Like Werner, Kepa arrived at Stamford Bridge with a massive price tag and huge reputation. However, after some ups and downs in his form across the years, the Spaniard lost his spot in the Blues’ first team to Senegal international Edouard Mendy. The custodian made just 15 appearances last season and 14 the year before.

Napoli, according to Gianluca di Marzio, are prepared to offer Arrizabalaga an escape route from his London nightmare. The Serie A giants are closing in on a temporary deal for the Spaniard, with final details stalling a transfer in which Chelsea would still be paying three-fourths of his wages. The Blues are looking for a small loan fee in return, but talks are ongoing to lower their demands and reach a complete agreement.

Finally, Everton are interested in a double deal for Barkley and Batshuayi. As per 90MIN, only minor details are stopping the two clubs from reaching a total agreement over the transfer of Barkley, who joined Chelsea in 2018 from Everton in a 15 million pound move. Frank Lampard’s side is also chasing the Belgian Batshuayi, who has been on several loans over the last few seasons.
