According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners are interested in Leeds United attacker Raphinha, who is also being watched by other clubs, such as Barcelona and Chelsea. However, the North Londoners are yet to make a formal approach for the Brazil international, whom the Whites value at 55 million euros.

Additionally, Goal claims that the 25-year-old could be a replacement for right-winger Nicolas Pepe, Arsenal’s record signing, who could leave the club this summer.

Raphinha joined Leeds ahead of their return to the Premier League in the summer of 2020 and enjoyed a stellar debut season at the club. Although the 17 million pounds man scored just six goals in 31 appearances across all competition in his first year in England, he was the focal point around which Marcelo Bielsa would ultimately shape his side.

Raphinha at Barca is losing strength as the days go by; the player is already looking for alternatives to Barça and offering himself to other teams. Leeds already assume that Raphinha will not stay and Arsenal have positioned themselves to sign him. [@gbsans @mundodeportivo]

A strong return of 11 goals in 36 appearances the season after only firmed up the Brazilian’s potential and brought the attention of several of Europe’s top clubs to Leeds’ doorsteps.

Meanwhile, newly-promoted Premier League side Fulham are eyeing a move for Arsenal custodian Bernd Leno, reports The Athletic. The German is free to leave the club this summer after losing his place to Aaron Ramsdale at the start of the previous season.

Furthermore, the Gunners have already brought in a replacement in United States of America international Matt Turner, whom they signed in January 2022 for the subsequent season.

30-year-old Leno is valued at 10 million euros by Transfermarkt, but the fee Fulham produce eventually may vary given his contract at the Emirates is up next year – with an extension looking increasingly unlikely. Furthermore, the player is just one of the goalkeepers the Cottagers are considering bringing in for their return to the Premier League. Lazio’s Thomas Strakosha is reportedly a target, too, but the player is not prioritizing a move to the Craven Cottage at the moment.
