The newly crowned champions of Italy are reportedly in negotiations with Club Brugge over the transfer of attacking pair Noa Lang and Charles De Ketelaere. The Rossoneri are also closing in on the free transfer of Liverpool forward Divock Origi.

The Rossoneri are set for a multi-billion takeover in the coming weeks. The club are likely to be active in the transfer market to fill in the gaps and strengthen their squad ahead of another potential title challenge next season.

Milan will lose players this summer as midfielder Franck Kessie and defender Alessio Romagnoli are destined to leave the club upon the expiration of their contracts, while attacker Rafael Leao has caught the eye of Real Madrid. However, the club is in talks with multiple targets to add to their roster.

As per Gazzetta Dello Sport, AC Milan are interested in buying Club Brugge’s forward pair Charles De Ketelaere and Noa Lang. Together the duo contributed with 21 goals and 20 assists in all competitions, with De Ketelaere the club’s top scorer while Lang the highest assist-provider. Thanks to their contributions in front of the goal, Brugge beat Union Saint-Gilloise to win the Belgian title.

As per the report, Milan have been in contact with Lang’s family in an attempt to reach an agreement on personal terms with the player. The Dutchman is valued at 22 million euros by the Belgian champions, while his attack partner De Ketelaere has been slapped with a 40 million price tag.

However, as the club has been working with a strict budget for the past few seasons, they will have to learn the available transfer spend under the new ownership before making any seismic moves in the market.

One signing which should go through is that of forward Divock Origi. Reports previously claimed that Milan had reached an agreement with the 27-year-old forward, who would join the club as soon as his contract with Liverpool expires. The Belgian confirmed his exit through social media recently; he is expected to be a Milan player from July 1, when the transfer window officially opens across Europe.
