In another night of Vivo Pro Kabaddi season 8, Dabang Delhi lost to Haryana Steelers by three points. Delhi were without their star raider Naveen Kumar yet again.

The Haryana Steelers got their revenge on Delhi, who had beaten them by three points in their previous encounter.

One of the major reasons for Delhi’s loss was the non-performance of their defence as it could not manage a single tackle point in the first half of the game. It’s a first in the history of the league. Overall, Delhi could manage only four tackle points in response to Haryana’s eight.

Vikas Khandola led the Steelers effectively as he scored 13 raid points and was supported by Vinay, who added seven raid points.

For Delhi, Sandeep Narwal took on raiding responsibilities again as he earned seven raid points. Vijay tried his best as well but couldn’t manage more than five points.

He brought in five technical points when Steelers defence followed him in the lobby without any struggle, but that little advantage didn’t help Delhi win the game.

Steelers are now in top 6 while Delhi still top the league.

Bengal Warriors were on the mat for the second consecutive day, but the result on Friday didn’t go their way as they lost to UP Yoddhas 36-40.

Maninder Singh was the lone warrior fighting it out for the Warriors as he scored 19 raid points, more than half of what the team scored, yet his efforts went in vain.

Pardeep Narwal and Surinder Gill yet again played well as both of them scored nine raid points each for Yoddhas. Their defence put up an impressive display, too, as the duo of Sumeet and Nitesh scored seven tackle points combined.

The all-round performance of the Yoddhas meant that Bengal was given two all-outs in the game. This made all the difference in the end, and the Warriors couldn’t even manage a single all-out.

After this victory, Yoddhas are now placed fourth in the points table, while the Warriors occupy the fifth spot.
