Tamil Thalaivas stunned table-toppers Dabang Delhi as both sides fought to a 30-30 draw at the end of the final whistle. Delhi looked the strong favorites to win the contest heading into the game, with star raider Naveen Kumar on a super ten streak.

The Thalaivas were able to snatch the win out of Dabang Delhi KC’s jaws in the final minutes of the game with back-to-back super tackles scoring six points and equalizing the points. TT mentor Kilaru Jagmohan talked to the press after the game, where he talked about the performance from his side and his plans to stop Naveen Kumar.

“They are a very good side and had good control over the game, but I know my side and can confidently say my players know how to change the game, we had three consecutive super tackles and that changed the game in the end!”

Tamil Thalaivas have drawn three of their five fixtures and will have to find a way out to convert the draws into wins in their upcoming games. The franchise is currently fifth on the league table with fourteen points to their name.

Mistakes cost us Delhi the game in the end – Narwal

Dabang Delhi, who maintained their unbeaten run, had complete control over the game, but a few mistakes by the raiders in the final few minutes of the game cost them the win.

Their skipper Joginder Narwal replied to the press when he was asked about what went wrong and if fans could have seen a different outcome.

“Both the sides made some very crucial mistakes in the final minutes of the game, it’s the game, we will learn from our mistakes and try to make sure that we do not repeat those in the upcoming games!”

Kumar was the star for Dabang Delhi, once again scoring his fifth super ten of the season, the player did lose his composure in the end, resulting in a draw against the Thalaivas, but the player promised the fans that he will make sure that mistakes don’t happen again.
