    Rassie van der Dussen has confirmed that the has revealed that the entire South African team will welcome Quinton de Kock with open arms, and would not hold anything against his previous actions.

    After SA batsman and wicket-keeper Quinton de Kock decided to withdraw himself from the Proteas’ match, controversially refusing to take the knee, he has since apologised and pledged his unequivocal backing to the cause of anti-racism. 

    De Kock even issued a statement through CSA stating that he didn’t intend to hurt the sentiments of anyone as a result of his actions.

    ”If he is selected, which I am sure he will be, he will come back like nothing ever happened. Nobody holds any grievances,”

    he added.

    The batsman also hoped for de Kock to be in the right frame of mind returning to the fold, and be able to produce match-winning performances. He called de Kock his ‘brother’, and added that he is a world class player.

    He also confirmed that Quinton felt remorseful for his actions, and was confident that everyone in the Proteas set up supported him.
